Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data is collected when you use this site, how it's handled, and the limits of its use. The aim is transparency – nothing hidden, nothing unnecessary.
1. What data is collected
I collect only the information needed to communicate with you or to provide sessions.
Contact form
Messages sent through the contact form are delivered directly to my email inbox.
They are not stored on the website itself.
Booking system (Cal.com)
When you book an appointment, your name, email address, and scheduling details are processed by Cal.com – a platform designed to be GDPR-compliant.
I do not store booking data outside the systems required to manage your appointments (such as Cal.com and my calendar).
Field Notes email updates
If you choose to receive article updates, your email address is stored securely in my publishing system (Ghost.com).
No other personal data is collected, and no tracking pixels are used.
I do not collect behavioural data, demographics, or browsing history.
2. Cookies
This site does not use tracking cookies.
- Analytics: Umami is used for anonymous, privacy-first analytics. It does not use cookies and does not store personal data.
- Booking: Cal.com may use a temporary session cookie during the booking flow. These cookies are strictly functional and not used for tracking.
3. How your data is used
Personal data is used only for:
- replying to your messages
- managing and confirming your bookings
- sending Field Note articles, if you have opted in
You will never receive advertising or unrelated communication.
Your data is never shared, sold, or used for profiling.
4. Data storage and retention
- Contact emails: stored in my email inbox
- Booking details: stored within Cal.com and my calendar
- Newsletter emails: stored by Ghost
I do not create additional personal archives beyond what is necessary to provide the service.
Personal data is retained only as long as necessary for communication and service provision, and typically no longer than 12 months after your last contact.
5. Your rights under GDPR
You have the right to:
- access the data held about you
- request correction or deletion
- withdraw consent at any time
To exercise any of these rights, simply contact me through the contact page.
I aim to respond within 1–2 working days.
